Goats were one of the first animals we bought when we first moved here to the farm. They are one of my favorites to watch. The babies hoppin' and boppin' across the pasture, playing king of the mountain and doing a little sheep surfing. They're more fun to watch than TV!

(Now you want to know what sheep surfing is I bet. Baby goats will jump on anything that will let them, and Daisy the sheep is very patient. She'll stand there and let the babies jump onto her back. Sometimes she's walking when they do it, hence the "sheep surfing". Pig surfing is also popular at the petting zoos.)

Annabelle is our first goat. She's my favorite, but doesn't come to very many petting zoos anymore. Since she is the dominant doe, she would rather stay home and keep the herd in order.	Annabelle dressed up for Halloween in her jester collar. The goats and sheep dress up for the holidays!	This is Chandler and Daisy the sheep. She is very gentle, especially with the little ones.	Meagan and Emily with baby goats. These are the goats that come to the parties!
Here's Cecil. He is a wether now, but was our billy for a number of years. He likes to stay home with Annabelle.	Meagan and Justin with more babies!	Daisy our Barbados sheep and a friend when she was just a little lamb.	Daisy is all grown up now and the best baby goat sitter around.
Roger (with the white belly stripe) and his brothers from last year (January 2004 babies).	Baby Ava from this year. She was born on January 30, 2005.	Zelda is Annabelle and Cecil's daughter. Here she is having babies in January 2004. Roger and Fred, twin boys.	Here they are again, just a couple of minutes old. How precious!
